Who pays for “free” sign-in apps?

Most free open house apps are funded by lender co-marketing: a lender appears on your listings and receives lead information when visitors opt into mortgage questions. That’s a legitimate, documented model — but it means your visitors are the product. We charge you directly instead, so nobody else has a claim on your sign-in list. Read our honest Curb Hero comparison before you decide — for plenty of agents, free is the right call.

And if you ever leave, exports don’t expire: leads stay exportable even if you cancel.

How much does the OpenHouse app cost?

OpenHouse is $9.99/month or $79.99/year, purchased through the App Store. Every feature is included in both — there are no tiers, add-ons, or per-lead fees.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. The first month is free and includes everything — unlimited events, unlimited leads, kiosk mode, exports, and the seller report. The trial is managed by Apple, so cancelling is one tap in your App Store settings.

What happens to my leads if I cancel?

Your data stays on your device, readable and exportable. A lapsed subscription puts OpenHouse in read-only mode: you can view every lead and export to CSV, PDF, or Contacts, but you cannot run new events until you resubscribe.

Why pay when Curb Hero is free?

Free sign-in apps are paid for by someone — usually lenders who co-market on your listings and receive lead information when visitors opt into mortgage questions. OpenHouse charges you directly, so your visitor data has no other customer.
